I live south of the free speech center of Los Angeles. When people want to have their collective voices heard, they organize and come to the Federal Building on Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood. We have been living in this neighborhood for two weeks and almost everyday since we have been here there has been people rallying there to show their support for the Iranian people to have independence.
On this Fourth of July, I salute these people that feel so passionately about the elections in Iran that they show their solidarity with their countrymen and women half way around the world. I also am grateful that I live in a country that allows them (and anyone else for that matter) to voice their opinion.
